Women Build:
Our Habitat for Humanity Story

The 2018 national partnership between Chico’s FAS and Habitat for Humanity grew from a 17-year local relationship in our founders’ backyard. Sharing the belief that women coming together can make a difference, Chico’s FAS Associates participate each year in Lee and Hendry County Habitat for Humanity women-led projects to build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing in Southwest Florida. Since 2001, Chico’s FAS has sponsored and helped build 41 homes, gifting over $2 million and volunteering over 7,000 woman (and man) hours.

In 2018, Chico’s FAS is proud to be national sponsor of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program, a participant in Habitat's Home is the Key awareness campaign and sponsor of a dedicated grant expanding empowerment through shelter to 77 U.S. communities.

Chico’s FAS associates in Southwest Florida will celebrate the partnership in May 2018 by volunteering to build a 42nd home. Our blueprint for success is rooted in our vibrant Associate spirit - climbing ladders and working together to change the lives of families in need of a place to call home.
